I signed up for Green Card Lottery today. :-) What´s that? A card that gives residents of most countries in the world possibility of permanent legal residence in America. It would be nice to have it, but you can´t get it for free. Registration is free, but then you need a huge dose of luch and finances to cover life in America.
I´m thinking about this lottery for a long time, because I´m playing with idea of permanent legal action in US. To get US work visa is not easy way. GC is one the ways how to get it, cause GC is a type of immigrant visas. If I would won it, I would became a permit of permanent residence, I will get also another rules as US citizens have, except vote and be elected. Theoretically, I could do anything in America, leave and arrive US whenever I want.
If you can´t imagine your life in America, you shouldn´t send application form. Every year US government gives around 50 000 cards. It´s a big number, but your application can reduce the chance of someone´s who thinks life in US very seriously.
