School drop-off and pick-up

I have a really good mood today. Finally stopped raining and sun is shinning again. During night attacked me an idea for a new post. What is it? It´s gonna be about my kid´s drop-off and pick-up at school. I have to share it with you, because it´s really different from czech system. 

Perhaps our pre-school is exceptional ...

Maybe it´s the same in other schools ...

DROP-OFF AT SCHOOL

Kids are sitting in their car seats and singing songs from radio. We are arriving to school, and as every day, we are waiting in a line. 

We don´t mind waiting, we got used to. Lane wane pretty quickly, because there are 4 ways for drop-off. 

1st way - drop-off in front of main entrance. This is for some classes of 4 years old (cars left in the picture)

Between the buildings there are 3 different stripes: 

2nd way - left lane for other class of 4 years old students (my line)

3rd way - right lane for 3 years old students

4th way - middle lane leads to the parking lot - you have to park your car here if you go drop-off your 2 years old child. Why? You have to walk him/her to classroom. 

How simple. I´m waiting for instruction. Nursery worker gives me permission and I can move my car to left lane. I stop the car when I get to the door. The teacher opens the door, welcomes us and takes child from car seat and walk him/her to the class. Well, I´m leaving without any effort towards new adventures. In short, just enjoy a few minutes off. :-) 

PICK UP

My free time is over and I stay in a lane again. Nameplate is prepared on my window. Each car has its own. Each driver is reported in school. It can´t happen that teacher will five child to someone else. When I move car to the door, the teacher opens the door and put kid back in car seat. We are saying goodbye. Hooray school ended for today and we have the whole funny afternoon in front of us. 

This system has many advantages. The biggest is comfort. What do you think? Would you like that too? What is your way of picking up children?
