Visitors

WOW that was a weekend! Such a "visitors" weekend I haven´t had for a long time. So many happened and I would like to share it with you. 

For Saturday´s meeting I was looking forward to around a week ... really I didn´t know about them earlier. Oh look! 

This message from my ex-coworker made me really happy. We planned our meeting with his friends on Saturday. 

After quick lunch and drink with my friend Tomas we picked his friends up from hotel (right across MSG). We decided to go explore the City. Actually we did not have much time, so we were "only"  on Brooklyn Bridge, Memorial 9/11 and at bull of Wall Street. 

After the tour we split in the subway - boys went for fancy expensive dinner and I run my errands. I went to NBA store, but it´s closed - so don´t go there and shop online. Around 8pm we met again and went to Bohemia Hall and Beer Garden in Queens. We chatted, had few drinks, took few selfies and went home :-) 

All day I just laughed, as I haven´t for a long time :-) Guys are here until next week, so I hope I will meet them again :-)

I was working on Sunday. In the afternoon should come friends for play date and dinner. Me and Courtney were baking, cooking from morning. And who my family actually invited? Chrissy Josh and boys William and Boe - very great and friendly family, I know them probably since my first weekn in States. Another was family of Steph Walter  - I´ve heard about Steph a lot. He is a nice man with a sense of humor, a big admirer of my culinary art, who never forget give like to my photo on Courtney´s instagram profile.

The whole week Courtney wondered about what to make for dinner. Stephen's is a gourmet and hobby chef. At the end this menu won. What do you think? 

• veggies chilli
• chicken roll with potatoes dumplings (we wanted to show them something from czech cousine)
• baked pasta with vegies and cheese
• pumpkin pie as a dessert
