How I Met ...

1) How I met Bruce!

Who is Bruce? Bruce is my host dad´s best friend, who works in the editorial company Blue Rock on Manhattonu. This was friendly - working meetings arranges my host family for me. They know that I'm a little creative and also that I am creating videos. They thought it could help me little but in my creation (perhaps in obtaining future work haha).

Immediately after my arrival, we went to work. We had conference call with the client regarding the creation of advertisements for health insurance company. Very interesting ... untill now I only knew meetings but no conference calls. Then we finished together with the sponsor advertising on allergy pills. For the committe we have prepared four proposals and tomorrow they will decide which version goes on television.

After lunch, Bruce showed me the remaining departments. There are 5 companies that work together - editorial, graphic design, production, correction, and beauty department. I was most intrigued graphics department.  I'd like to know this too one day. Well we will see, but for now I'll be happy if I can improve my video editing :-)

2) How I met Tomas, Lukas and Marek again! 

Yeah I met again! Today we decided for walk to Central Park. On the way we headed straight to the NHL store,  as Tomas said, "such a Victoria's Secret for men ".

3) How I met Donald Trump

After Tomas´s lost his game in NHL store we went to Donald Trump´s fan store to buy his hat (56th street 5th ave). According to US law we weren´t allowed to buy it, cause they are allowed to sell only to US citizens. But we were lucky cause from a short distance we could take a picture with Donald :-)

4) How I met Majk Spirit!

And finally Central Park. Already at the beginning of the park we noticed a group of about 8 Slovaks - something filming and taking pictures. We didn´t pay too much attention to them. We came here to explore all park´s beauties and not listen some Slovaks :-) We came to the fountain. After 10 minutes came thse Slovaks on the same place. And again they filmed and took pictures! When in fact Lukas said, "Hey, that's Majk Spirit!" Tomas obviously had no idea who he is. For you guys - he is the most famous czech-slovak rapper. We watched them at work and then I decided to ask for a photo. Guys took a video with Majk, I took only picture. After that we chatted a little bit and got an invitation for tomorrow's concert. We could talk more, cause my friends rush to see hockey game. 

In a subway, on the way to Grand Central, I had to say goodbye to my friends and hurried home. It's a little sad, but I'm glad I've had some Czech visitors here again :-)
