Another day in the City

Hi everyone, 

another weekend off is behind me. This weekend was a little longer that usualy is for me. My family left to grandma´s house on Friday after lunch time. 

Today i won´t tell you anything about another nice long trip. Or acturally i will, but ... 

It´s incredible how many places I´ve visited here. When I planned this weekend off, I found that places where I would like to go are not to close to my town. So fulfilling another my dream during the weekend is almost unrealistic. Moreover, now before Black Friday and Christmas, are trips a little out of my financial opportunities :D 

Despite the fact I stayed in Chappaqua, I wanted enjoy my free weekend. So i pallned party with Julia on Friday, trip to the City with Taryn on Saturday and on Sunday trip to Yale University. However, not everything always come out according to your wishes...

Julia´s host family moved Chicago trip from Saturday to Friday, Taryn unexpectedly had to work on Saturday and the others ... I didn´t know what they are doing. 

Even though all these problems I had successful weekend. Nearly the whole I spent with Taryn. Actually, the whole - I went home only to sleep :D We had a dinner together on Friday, on Saturday I went with Taryn and Annie for a walk and then on Sunday we finally went to the CITY!!!

So what did we do in the City? 

We started our tour at Flatiron Plaza, where the famous Flatiron building is. I have to admit we really enjoyed time here. :D All tourists and drivers looked at us, while we were

playing with camera, but we didn´t mind. Our reward are the funny photos. :-) 

Than we went to Chelsea, where Market and great restaurants are. But also it´s the beginning of the famous High Line Park. I´ve been there a million times, but Taryn not yet. I love it here. Wonderful place at Manhattan. Definitely worth to find some time to come here and see!

After 3,5 hours of walking we decided to take a rest. Light lunch at Panera Bread gave us strength for our next mission. 

But where should we go now? Time Square? NO! Central Park? NO! Finally, we decided to take a subway to Wall Street. Why there? Well because we needed to take a picture with famous bull!So after 15 minutes of waiting in the line our dream came true. Dominika and Bull. Well, do you like it? :-)  

At the end we wento to the nearby Battery Park. You can have a beautiful view at the Statue of Liberty and Jersey City from this park. As it happened to us we lost our beautifil sunset view on Jersey for a few minutes, because of a huge cruise ship. 

And that is all from my Sunday´s trip. I can not wait to see Christmas City. So far, everything is being prepared and installed now. Once all the Christmas decoration lights, I will go explore it and them I will write you about it. :-)
