And again I confirmed it. Absolutely true. Really, the best opportunities you can find close to your house. I´ve lived in Chappaqua more than a year. At least once a week I go for a hike. Environment change, fresh air, work out ... this and much more is very important to me. When I´m hiking I relax and strengthens not only my body but also my mind. I love discovering new places, but mostly I hike on route I already explored.

Today, it was different.
Recently I visited my Czech friends, who were working in Chappaqua. They painted one house there. During a speech they asked me if I was in Whippoorwill Park. Of course, I was not there. I did not even know about it. So today, at Vlada´s recommendation, I made an exception and went there.
Now hold! As I mentioned, I´ve lived here for over a year. I know almost every park in this area. Almost every bench, pond or view. The park, located just 3 minutes drive from my house, I DID NOT KNOW!
I was soooo upset on myself, when I arrived to the park. Why did I dicovere this beautiful park with lot of trails just now?!
I´m so glad I visited this place. Definitely, I wasn´t there for the last time. No wonder they say: "BETTER LATE THAN NEVER." :-)
